  • Express Routes: Services such as the Boulder Highway Express (BHX), Centennial Express (CX), and Downtown Veterans Medical Center Express (DVX) typically integrate with the BTC.

The Bonneville Transit Center is a modern facility designed with passenger convenience and sustainability in mind (it has achieved LEED Platinum green building certification). Key features include:   

  • Boarding Bays: 16 on-site bus bays for organized boarding and arrivals.   
  • Indoor Waiting Area: A climate-controlled lobby, which is open 24 hours a day, providing shelter and seating for passengers.   
  • Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs): Machines are available for purchasing various RTC transit passes.   
  • Customer Service/Sales Booth: An on-site sales booth operates during specific hours (typically 7:15 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. daily, but subject to change) for pass purchases and information.   
  • Real-Time Information: Digital displays often provide real-time bus arrival and departure information. This is also accessible via the rideRTC app.
  • Bicycle Facilities: Approximately 100 double-stacked bike racks and a self-service bike repair station are available for cyclists.   
  • Restrooms: Public restrooms are available for passengers.   
  • Parking: Limited free parking spaces are available for transit riders on a first-come, first-served basis. Passengers can park for up to seven days (it’s encouraged to notify RTC Security for extended parking). Preferred parking for hybrid vehicles is also provided.
