For most first-time visitors, the easiest DAC-to-Savar transfer is an app car, hotel pickup or private car. The reason is not only distance. The reason is airport arrivals friction, luggage, language, road routing and congestion. Rail helps if the trip starts near the airport, Joydebpur, Kamalapur or another Bangladesh Railway point. It does not drop you inside Savar. The most useful airport-side rail stop is Biman Bandar, near DAC. PPP Bangladesh describes a planned multimodal hub at Bimanbandar and notes heavy passenger use at the airport rail point. For Savar, the rail move must be paired with a road final mile.

Airport Address And Ground Transport

The official HSIA site lists the airport at Kurmitola, Dhaka-1229. This is the address to use for airport pickup planning, airline support and hotel transfer forms. The airport is on the north side of Dhaka, closer to Uttara and Abdullahpur than to Old Dhaka, which helps Savar-bound travellers if the route through Ashulia is moving.

Pathao
