Madison Transit and Airport Route D2

Madison Transit is the core local bus system for Madison. Route D2 to the Airport

Route D2 is the route to check for airport travel. Use a contactless card or phone wallet for the $2 adult fare. the fare page says the fare acts like a two-hour pass, so a transfer can be included if the trip needs another route. That is useful for hotels not directly on D2, but do not overcomplicate the first arrival. If the second bus is infrequent or the weather is bad, a direct car may be worth it.
