Niagara Falls parking is easier to choose when you start with the country, your first attraction and the time you will return to your car. Table Rock, Fallsview, Clifton Hill and Goat Island serve different kinds of day. A low parking price can become less useful if it adds a long walk, a missed bus or another charge when you move the car.
This guide compares six useful first-visit lots in Canada and the USA, plus Fallsview Casino and Rapidsview alternatives. Prices and conditions were checked on 6 September 2026. Canadian amounts are CAD; American amounts are USD. Published rates may change, and no parking space is reserved by reading this guide.
Choose the area before comparing prices
Decide where you want to start, then work backwards to the parking choice:
- Table Rock and the Canadian Horseshoe Falls: compare Niagara Parks Falls Parking, known as Lot A, for a day based on the lower promenade.
- Fallsview hotels, dining or an evening show: investigate parking in the upper Fallsview district, including the casino garage. Include the route downhill and back if you also want to visit the water.
- Clifton Hill and Victoria Avenue: Ellen Avenue Municipal Lot 4 is a city option to compare with private lots. Its maximum stay matters.
- Prospect Point and Maid of the Mist in the USA: start with State Park Lot 1.
- Cave of the Winds and Goat Island: compare State Park Lot 2; Lot 3 serves a different part of the island near Three Sisters.
- Great Lakes 360 or the Aquarium area: check State Park Lot 4 and its seasonal status.

Parking in Niagara Falls, Canada
Falls Parking Lot A: a Table Rock starting point
Niagara Parks lists Lot A at 6635 Niagara Parkway, beside the Power Station and near Table Rock. It operates year-round. The published price is variable, so an old fixed amount from a review is not a reliable quotation for your date.
At a gated Niagara Parks lot, take a ticket on entry and pay when leaving. Its Daily Parking Pass is a separate product with same-calendar-day parking and re-entry benefits across participating Niagara Parks lots. Check what you are buying; do not assume every ordinary parking payment is that pass. Niagara Parks does not provide overnight parking. Check the current Niagara Parks parking information.
Ellen Avenue Municipal Lot 4: watch the eight-hour limit
This city-operated lot is at 5616 Ellen Avenue. The 2026 fee schedule lists CAD3 per hour or CAD12 for eight hours, including HST. The hourly total comprises CAD2.65 plus CAD0.35 HST; the eight-hour total is CAD10.62 plus CAD1.38 HST. The city warns that dynamic or event rates may differ from its schedule. The operating window is 8am to 3am, seven days a week, with an eight-hour maximum. Parking is prohibited from 3am to 8am. A winter flat rate is mentioned without a fixed amount or precise season dates. Payment options include the machine, HONK zone 4533 and PayByPhone. The eight-hour option is not permission to leave a car overnight or to exceed the stated limit. Check Lot 4’s current operating rules.
Fallsview Casino: upper-district parking with a departure-time price
The casino garage is a different parking business from Niagara Parks Lot A. General parking is on levels five and above; some lower entrances and floors are reserved for qualifying members. The operator says rates fluctuate and are determined at the time of departure. Complimentary parking is conditional, rather than an automatic benefit for every visitor. Fallsview publishes overnight parking, and warns that weekends, holidays and concert dates may cost more. Its walking guidance to the falls goes via Fallsview Boulevard, Murray Street and Niagara Parkway; the Falls Incline Railway provides another connection with its own fare and operation. Compare the entire visit, including the climb back and your intended exit time. Do not assume a hotel booking, casino visit or restaurant bill automatically covers parking. Rapidsview: compare the park-and-ride connection
Rapidsview Lot C at 4555 Upper Rapids Road is a seasonal alternative. Niagara Parks currently lists CAD10 for the day and a WEGO Green ride of roughly seven to eight minutes to Table Rock. That is an estimate of time on the bus, not a departure schedule. The lot closes for winter. Confirm operation, any separate bus fare and the final bus back to your car; the parking row does not establish a combined parking-and-transit ticket. Review Rapidsview and WEGO access.
Parking at Niagara Falls State Park, USA
Lot 1, 333 Prospect Street, suits the Welcome Center, Prospect Point and Maid of the Mist. Lot 2, 15 Goat Island Loop Road, suits Cave of the Winds and Top of the Falls. Both are year-round automobile lots: RVs, trailers and buses are excluded.
For the published 22 May–11 October 2026 period, each lists USD10 Monday–Thursday and USD15 Friday–Sunday. The next explicitly dated period, 12 October 2026–31 March 2027, lists USD10 daily. Fees and collection hours can change. The parking table does not separately clarify tax, so check the displayed payable amount. Verify the dated State Park parking table.
Lot 3, 50 Goat Island Road, is associated with Three Sisters Islands and admits limited RV parking. Its 2026 charging period runs 22 May–7 September, from 8:30am to 5pm on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and holidays. Cars are USD10 and RVs USD20 during that collection period. The page describes Tuesday–Thursday as free year-round and no fee between 8 September and 21 May. It prohibits overnight parking and RVs or trailers over 40 feet. Lot 4, 540 Discovery Way, serves the Great Lakes 360, Aquarium and Schoellkopf area. It is seasonal and excludes RVs, trailers and buses. The operator currently has no established fee for this lot. That is not a promise of permanent free parking or proof that it will be open for your visit.
Before choosing a farther lot to reduce cost, check the actual walk to your first place and the journey back after your last stop. Re-entry, overnight stays and the return to your car
On the US State Park side, retain your parking receipt for same-day re-entry. Re-entry depends on available space, so leaving for lunch does not hold a bay for you. Read the re-entry condition.
For an overnight stay, confirm the exact facility’s permission and total charge. Niagara Parks prohibits overnight parking; Ellen Avenue Lot 4 has its 3am–8am restriction; State Park Lot 3 explicitly prohibits overnight parking. Fallsview Casino publishes overnight availability with variable departure-time pricing. The state park being open 24 hours does not establish overnight vehicle permission in every lot. If a hotel offers parking, ask whether the quotation includes tax, valet service, repeated exits, the time after checkout and your vehicle type. Then compare that full arrangement with an off-site lot. For a day trip, put the deadline for returning to the car into your plan before adding dinner or evening illumination.
RV, accessible parking and electric cars
Do not send an RV to a lot merely because its map pin is convenient. State Park Lots 1, 2 and 4 are automobile-only. Lot 3 has limited RV provision and a 40-foot restriction; confirm any trailer combination with the operator. Published RV or garage-clearance rules were not verified for the Canadian options above, so ask before driving a tall or long vehicle to the entrance.
Accessible parking payment rules also vary. Niagara Falls municipal lots allow a valid displayed accessible permit to park free up to the maximum stay. Niagara Parks requires payment at the first lot, then allows same-day re-parking at its other paid lots with the original receipt displayed. Neither rule guarantees a vacant accessible bay or an unobstructed route to your attraction. City permit rules and Niagara Parks accessible parking policy.
For an electric car at Fallsview, the operator lists ten charging spaces across P1 and P5, with hourly charging fees through ChargePoint. Check the permitted parking level as well as the charger. Use the vehicle entrance, then plan the walking route
A parking-lot centre is not necessarily a driveable entrance. New York State Parks supplies separate directions for the Lot 1 entrance, the First Street approach to Goat Island, and the Great Lakes 360 entrance. The Goat Island approach serves the island; it is not the individual gate of Lot 2 or Lot 3. These links come from the operator’s Getting Here section.
After parking, switch to walking directions from the pedestrian exit to your first attraction. Keep the car’s location and your payment expiry handy. A road route to the lot should not become your walking route through a vehicle barrier or an emergency-only door.

Is there one parking pass for Canada and the USA?
Do not treat these operators as one parking system. Check the named lots and country included in the product you buy. Niagara Parks, municipal parking, private garages and New York State Park parking have separate conditions.
Can a parking app guarantee a free space?
Payment capability, a map listing and live occupancy are different things. No public live-occupancy API for the lots in this guide was verified. Use the official operator or payment service to check current terms, and read signs on arrival.
Which parking lot is cheapest?
There is no reliable universal answer across different dates, currencies, vehicle types and durations. Compare the payable price for your visit with the walking time, permitted stay, re-entry, transit cost and return plan. An unknown or variable amount should stay unknown until checked.
