Niagara Falls outlet shopping has two distinct destinations: Outlet Collection at Niagara in Ontario, Canada, and Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls USA in New York. Choose the country first, then compare the shops, weather, journey and full spending budget. For a short visit, one centre is usually easier to fit around the falls than a shopping trip across both countries.
Guide and linked operator information reviewed 7 September 2026. Suggested time allowances are Way4I planning advice. Check your chosen shops before travelling.

Which Niagara outlet mall fits your trip?
- Staying on the Canadian side: start by checking Outlet Collection at Niagara, near the QEW in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Its open-air layout means walking outdoors between shops.
- Staying on the American side: compare Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls USA on Military Road. Its single-level indoor layout can make it a useful shopping option in wet or cold weather.
- Considering a border crossing: compare the complete journey before comparing sale signs. A short distance across the river does not account for the crossing or your return arrangements.
Neither centre is the riverfront attraction district. Set aside a separate outing rather than assuming you can step out of a falls viewpoint straight into an outlet mall. Our suggestion is to allow two to three hours for browsing and a break, plus travel; adjust this to your own shopping list.
Canada: Outlet Collection at Niagara
Address: 300 Taylor Road, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. This is the Canadian outlet centre near the QEW, not a location in Niagara Falls, New York. The operator’s visitor page provides directions and current opening information.
The official Niagara Falls Tourism listing describes an open-air centre operating year-round and lists wheelchair, walker and stroller rentals. Contact the centre to confirm availability and arrangements for the equipment you need. Plan clothing for time outdoors, including the walk from your vehicle.
Look up your priority shops before setting out. Centre opening hours and individual retailer hours can differ, particularly around holidays. For an efficient visit, choose a few target stores, decide where to pause for food and agree a meeting point if your group separates.

USA: Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls USA
Address: 1900 Military Road, Niagara Falls, New York. The centre is in the United States. Its official visitor page lists free visitor parking and directions. Keep track of your entrance number to make the return to your car easier.
The official services page describes a single-level indoor shopping centre with a food court. It directs wheelchair-rental enquiries to Security and currently says the Guest Services desk is closed. Confirm arrangements directly instead of planning around an assumed staffed desk.
An indoor visit still includes the approach from a car, bus stop or drop-off point. Ask about the entrance and assistance that fit your needs. Individual shops and restaurants may keep different hours from the centre.

Getting to the outlets and back
Our same-side Apple Maps route checks on 7 September 2026 returned approximately 18 minutes from Falls Parking in Canada to the Canadian centre, and 12 minutes from State Park Lot 1 in the USA to the American centre. Treat these as planning examples from those specific origins, not live predictions from your hotel. Traffic, parking and walking add time; a cross-border journey is a separate calculation.
Without a car: use the app’s Transport map for the chosen country and check the exact destination stop, walk and return service. Arrange both directions before committing to purchases. A bus or train arriving in Niagara Falls does not automatically include a connection to either outlet centre.
For the longer journey, see our Toronto and Pearson to Niagara Falls guide. To plan around your base, compare Niagara Falls hotel areas and parking on both sides.
Compare the complete shopping cost
Keep Canadian-dollar and US-dollar budgets separate. Before buying, compare the final checkout total, any card currency conversion, travel and parking costs. Check the retailer’s return policy for that exact purchase, including sale items, receipts and where a return would need to be made. An outlet label alone does not establish the best value for your needs.
If your shopping plan includes another country, review entry and return requirements in the app’s Border section before travelling. Keep receipts and check the relevant border authority’s current guidance for your circumstances. This guide does not calculate customs allowances or promise a duty-free shopping trip.
For a relaxed day, finish your essential sightseeing first or choose a clear shopping end time. Leave room for a meal and the trip back. Our restaurant and evening guide can help you plan the next part of your visit.

Can I shop without hiring a car?
