Expanded 6 September 2026: nine Warsaw hotels across seven tourist areas. Operator information was reviewed on 5–6 September 2026. Expedia guest-rating snapshots are dated 4 September for the original five properties and 6 September for Raffles, Moxy and the two ibis budget additions. These are not live rates or availability. The most useful Warsaw hotel is the one that suits your arrival, sightseeing and next departure. Start with the neighbourhood and transport, then compare the room and its total price.

Affiliate disclosure: Way4I may receive a commission if you book through an Expedia or Viator partner link below. The selection is editorial, not a live ranking of all Warsaw hotels. Booking, payment and cancellation are handled by the selected booking platform and provider. We do not quote a room price without dates, occupancy and rate conditions.

Choose your stay style

Start with the kind of stay you want, then choose the right district. These are editorial categories based on the properties’ positioning and facilities, not fixed nightly-price bands, official star ratings or a ranking by review score. Dates, events, room type and cancellation terms can change the price order.

Next refine by your actual arrival station or airport, walking distance, room needs and facilities. A higher guest score does not automatically move a hotel into a luxury or higher-price category. To look beyond these nine properties, compare more Warsaw hotels on Expedia for your dates.

Central Warsaw: practical for rail arrivals

Centralna, Śródmieście and Centrum are useful names, but they are not interchangeable stations. Confirm where your actual train stops. A hotel in the central district can reduce the effort of arriving with luggage while keeping metro, tram and bus options available for sightseeing.

Polonia Palace Hotel · mid-range comfort

At Aleje Jerozolimskie 45, Polonia Palace is a classic city-centre option near the Palace of Culture district. It is a sensible shortlist candidate when rail arrival and central transport matter. The reviewed listing includes a restaurant, gym and accessible room options; confirm the exact room and its access requirements with the property.

Check-in is listed from 15:00 and check-out by 12:00. Breakfast, pets and spa treatments may be extra. An Expedia guest-rating snapshot showed 9.6/10 from 1,526 reviews; that is a dated reference, not a live score or a promise about a particular stay. See Polonia Palace photos, dates and room conditions on Expedia.

The hotel’s own services page lists three adapted rooms and a 120 PLN per-stay charge for small pets, with advance notice and no pets in the restaurant or bar. Confirm the room and current policy before booking; a listed adapted room is not a guarantee of every access feature.

InterContinental Warsaw · luxury

At Emilii Plater 49, this high-rise option suits travellers who want a central base with skyline character. The property’s distinctive indoor pool and wellness facilities are on the 43rd floor. A view, pool access and breakfast can depend on the selected room or rate, so do not treat a general hotel description as a complete list of inclusions.

Rondo ONZ metro and Centralna are useful transport anchors in the surrounding area. Confirm the pedestrian approach with luggage. Listed check-in is 15:00 and check-out 12:00. The checked Expedia rating was 9.2/10 from 1,002 reviews. Check InterContinental Warsaw on Expedia.

Cross-check facilities and arrival policies on IHG’s official InterContinental Warsaw page. A hotel’s star category and an Expedia guest score measure different things; neither establishes the best choice for every traveller.

Saxon Garden and the Old Town approach: choose the actual address

A hotel using “Old Town” in its name may still be a substantial walk from Castle Square. This is not necessarily a disadvantage. A quieter base near a tram or metro stop can work well, but it should be a conscious choice rather than a surprise after arrival.

PURO Warszawa Stare Miasto · mid-range design

This property is at Canaletta 4, useful for the Grand Theatre area, Saxon Garden and walks toward the historic centre. It is the Stare Miasto hotel, not PURO Warszawa Centrum. Compare the room, bedding, breakfast package and parking for your exact offer. Ask the property to confirm accessible room specifications where needed.

The official PURO property page welcomes pets without an extra charge. It lists breakfast at 119 PLN per person when not included in a package, limited parking at 150 PLN/day, and a gym and sauna from 06:00 to 22:00. Sauna use before 17:00 requires a reservation. These are published hotel policies and extras, not an Expedia quotation for your dates.

The checked Expedia listing showed 9.8/10 from 376 reviews. Small differences between dated review counts are normal as new reviews arrive. Explore PURO Stare Miasto’s current rooms on Expedia.

Raffles Europejski Warsaw · heritage luxury

At Krakowskie Przedmieście 13, Raffles puts the Royal Route on your doorstep without placing you inside the Old Town walls. Consider it for a heritage-led stay with art, dining and time to enjoy the hotel itself. Nowy Świat–Uniwersytet on metro M2 is a useful walking connection; check the complete approach from your arrival station.

The official Accor property listing includes an indoor pool, spa, fitness facilities, connecting rooms and two adapted rooms. Confirm the actual room allocation, spa access and any additional transfer or pet charges. Published check-in is 15:00 and check-out 12:00. A 6 September Expedia snapshot showed 9.8/10 from 354 reviews. See Raffles Europejski rooms and conditions on Expedia.

Muranów: POLIN and New Town connections

ibis Warszawa Stare Miasto · budget-minded

At Muranowska 2, ibis offers a practical base for Muranów, POLIN and walks toward the New Town. Use nearby tram stops or consider the walk to Dworzec Gdański for metro and rail. The location is not directly on Castle Square.

Renovation notice: the official Accor property page announces fifth-floor room and corridor work from 6 July to 21 September 2026. Ask about disruption for your dates before committing to a non-refundable rate. Check-in is listed from 15:00, check-out by 12:00. Breakfast, limited parking and pets may cost extra. The checked Expedia rating was 8.8/10 from 1,004 reviews. Check ibis Stare Miasto on Expedia.

Praga and Koneser: stay across the Vistula

Moxy Warsaw Praga · mid-range social design

Moxy at Ząbkowska 29 is part of the regenerated Koneser distillery complex. This base makes sense when Praga is part of the trip, not merely a place to sleep before crossing the river every morning. Pair it with Ząbkowska, Koneser and the Polish Vodka Museum; check that a museum ticket or guided visit is actually included in any experience you book. Dworzec Wileński metro M2 and local trams offer onward options after a walk.

Marriott’s official Moxy page lists a bar, grab-and-go food, adapted room options and paid Koneser parking entered from Białostocka. Breakfast is not automatically included and there is no airport shuttle. Check-in is 15:00; check-out is 12:00. The page currently gives conflicting pet fees, so confirm the charge directly rather than relying on one amount. Expedia showed 9.4/10 from 349 reviews on 6 September. Powiśle and Solec: a budget base near the river

ibis budget Warszawa Centrum · simple and practical

The important detail is the address: Zagórna 1, in Solec near the Vistula and Torwar. This is not a hotel at Centrum metro or Centralna station. It is also different from ibis Warszawa Centrum and the neighbouring ibis Styles. Choose it for a straightforward base, then plan the bus and walking connections for your sightseeing.

The official Accor page for ibis budget Centrum lists air conditioning, Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception and accessible accommodation. Breakfast and limited, non-reservable parking cost extra. The restaurant mentioned for other meals belongs to the separate ibis Styles property. Confirm your bedding, access needs and total price. Check-in is 15:00 and check-out 12:00; the 6 September Expedia snapshot was 8.4/10 from 340 reviews. Check the ibis budget at Zagórna 1 on Expedia.

Ochota and West Station: useful for rail and coach arrivals

ibis budget Warszawa West Station · formerly Reduta

At Bitwy Warszawskiej 16, this economy property is worth considering when your train or coach uses Warszawa Zachodnia. It is outside the station, not a terminal hotel. Older booking links may still say Reduta, and the neighbouring standard ibis is a separate hotel: match the budget brand, address and photographs before paying.

Accor’s current West Station page lists compact 11 m² doubles or twins and a 14 m² triple with three single beds, plus two rooms for guests with reduced mobility. Check luggage space, bedding and any breakfast, parking or pet charges. Published check-in is 15:00 and check-out 12:00. The operator’s station distances differ between page sections, so use an actual walking route and current exit signs. Expedia showed 8.4/10 from 323 reviews on 6 September. See ibis budget West Station, formerly Reduta, on Expedia.

Chopin Airport: convenience for the correct airport

Courtyard Warsaw Airport · mid-range convenience

At Żwirki i Wigury 1J, Courtyard is an airport-focused choice by Warsaw Chopin. That means WAW, not Warsaw Modlin, whose airport code is WMI. Confirm the terminal approach, your departure area and breakfast hours if you have an early flight.

The hotel listing includes a restaurant and gym. Its official information also announces modernization of guest rooms, meeting and public areas, so ask how your stay may be affected. Check-in is listed from 15:00 and check-out by 12:00. The Expedia snapshot was 9.4/10 from 1,010 reviews. See Courtyard Warsaw Airport’s dated offers on Expedia.

Marriott’s official property information lists a pedestrian terminal approach rather than an airport shuttle, a 24-hour fitness centre and parking at 200 PLN/day. Breakfast is not universally complimentary; check your specific rate and serving hours. Airport proximity does not replace checking the signed route with luggage or access needs.

Compare the whole cost and journey

  • Use the same dates, guests and room occupancy when comparing offers.
  • Read the total payable price and identify taxes, breakfast, parking and other extras.
  • Check payment timing and the exact cancellation deadline and time zone.
  • Confirm bedding, room category, accessible features and any connecting-room request.
  • Check recent reviews for the issue you care about, not only the overall score.
  • Plan the route from your actual arrival station or airport, including the final walk.

Plan the complete journey between the hotel entrance and your actual destination. A nearby stop is not proof of a step-free entrance or a guarantee that every service goes where you need. Keep extra time when arriving with luggage or heading to a flight.
